Interessi di ricerca

1) Via di trasduzione del segnale mediata dal cGMP nella fisiopatologia cardiaca e muscolare scheletrica: analisi varianti della fofodiesterasi 5 (PDE5) in modelli murini di cardiomiopatie e disordini muscolari.

2) Vie di segnale modulate in muscoli scheletrici in diversi tipi di attività fisica: studio dell’espressione di una serie di geni specifici per la funzione e il metabolismo muscolare in biopsie muscolari di atleti sottoposti a esercizi fisici di diverso grado di intensità.

3) Ruolo dei microRNA in modelli in vitro di atrofia muscolare e vie segnali attivate.

4) Ruolo dei canali per il potassio attivati dal calcio nel sistema nervoso e caratterizzazione delle vie metaboliche implicate nell’attivazione della risposta neuroimmunologica.
