Interessi di ricerca

The research activity is mainly focused on two complementary research lines.
The first involves the synthesis, characterization and evaluation of polymeric biomaterials designed for biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. Particular attention is given to the development of materials suitable for 3D bioprinting, tissue engineering and controlled drug delivery systems.
The second is focused on the design and development of innovative polymeric, lipid and hybrid nanocarriers for drug delivery applications.
