Ruolo delle ammino ossidasi, ammine biogene e poliammine nella crescita e proliferazione cellulare. - Purificazione e caratterizzazione delle diammino ossidasi di origine vegetale. Studio dei parametri cinetici e correlazioni con le funzioni fisiologiche dell'enzima. - Potenziale uso terapeutico della diammino ossidasi, veicolata mediante opportune formulazioni orali,  per il trattamento delle allergie alimentari e di varie condizioni infiammatorie intestinali.
