Il saggio introduttivo del catalogo della mostra "Bruno Munari Il colore della luce" scritto da Cecilia Cecchini (in qualità di coordinatore scientifico della Fondazione Plart che da realizzato insieme al Museo Madre la mostra e il suo catalogo omonimo), fornisce una chiare di lettura del lavoro sulla luce - in particolare sulle proiezioni a luce polarizzata - realizzate da Munari, contestualizzando il lavoro del designer ed evidenziando i rapporti con la sua produzione.

Lo spazio per la preparazione del cibo è stato investito dallo sviluppo degli apparecchi e degli arredi che la caratterizzano che, negli ultimi anni, ha raggiunto livelli e traguardi impensabili. È utile notare come da un punto di vista distributivo e funzionale l’evoluzione tecnologica degli arredi, degli elettrodomestici, degli utensili ? così come l’introduzione di materiali innovativi e di sistemi digitali (domotica) ? abbiano influito superficialmente sulla conformazione dello spazio e sul suo significato.

L’attuale quadro delle trasformazioni determinate dalla rivoluzione digitale negli ambiti del ‘sapere’ e ‘del saper fare’ nella didattica e nella ricerca nella progettazione tecnologica degli artefatti, il testo indaga i mutevoli rapporti di ruolo e rilevanza tra innovazione di processo e prodotto.

The experimental workshop practice found, in the last fifteen years, more and more space in the schools of architecture. It consists on a design experience able to train the student, in a short or a medium duration time, in the processing speed, in the organization of the development and in the synthesis ability: a design process based on the dialectic among debate/clash and conflict/dialogue with the consequent search for a design proposal as a result of cultural, methodological, linguistic and communicative integration of various participants.

Urban and rural terms have different significances with reference to the context and their relationship have changed over time according to socio-political changes, always in a dichotomous way. The latest studies overpass this dichotomy and propose multi-sectoral approach focusing on patterns of territorial continuity, which goes beyond boundaries.

Generally, in most countries, there are no strict regulations regarding tire disposal. Hence, tires end up thrown in seas and lands as well as being burnt, harming the living beings, and are therefore considered a very dangerous pollution source for the environment. Over the past few years, several researchers have worked on incorporating shredded/powdered rubber tires into cement-based material. This strategy shows a dual functionality: Economic–environmental benefits and technological functionalization of the building material.

Thermochemical hydrogen production is of great interest due to the potential for significantly reducing the dependence on fossil fuels as energy carriers. In a solar plant, the solar receiver is the unit in which solar energy is absorbed by a fluid and/or solid particles and converted into thermal energy. When the solar energy is used to drive a reaction, the receiver is also a reactor.
