Usefulness of Ospemifene in the treatment of urgency in menopausal patients affected by mixed urinary incontinence underwent mid-urethral slings surgery

The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness and safety of Ospemifene in the improvement of urgency component in women affected by mixed urinary incontinence (MUI) who underwent surgery with mid-urethral sling (MUS). Eighty-one patients with MUI underwent surgical intervention with MUS were enrolled. After surgical intervention 38 patients received Ospemifene 60 mg one tablet daily per os for 12 weeks.

Aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of ospemifene in the prevention of recurrent lower urinary tract infections in postmenopausal women with vulvovaginal atrophy. The study have a retrospective design. Thirty-nine patients were enrolled. Patients underwent clinical examination and urine culture. The urinary symptoms and the quality of life were evaluated with UTISA score, PUF and SF-36 questionnaires before and after treatment. All 39 patients received ospemifene 60mg one tablet/daily for 6months. Adverse effects and complications were assessed.

The present paper concerns an environmentally sustainable neighborhood planning project, as part of the smart community, located in the municipality of Ladispoli, in the Metropolitan area of Rome, along the Tyrrhenian coast. Quality of life in patients with loco-regional rectal cancer after ELRR by TEM versus VLS TME after nChRT. Long-term results

Endoluminal loco-regional resection (ELRR) by transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) may be an alternative treatment option to Laparoscopic total mesorectal excision (LTME), in selected patients with N0 rectal cancer. Post-operative quality of life (QoL) evaluation is an important parameter of outcomes related to high percentage of functional sequelae. We reported, in a previous paper, the short and medium term results of QoL in patients who underwent ELRR or LTME.
