cultural heritage. The scientific content will concern: architectural representation (included modelling

expressive act and visual communication; survey, as tool for building studying, and its methodologies
and procedures of metrical, morphological, thematic restitution, information management systems in
Cultural Architecture, European research networks in the field of Cultural Architecture, non-destructive
diagnosis technologies for the safe conversation and traceability of cultural assets, diagnoses and monitoring
for the preventive conservation and maintenance of architectural and historical heritage, status and
state of conservation of structure of existing buildings and materials, history and theory of architectural,
architectural restoration and conservation.
The book would be a valuable manual to illustrate the latest and most advanced practices applied in
the study and in the restoration and conservation of Cultural Architecture.
The book would be a useful tool for all those interested in the analysis, documentation, preservation
and restoration of Cultural Heritage, especially Architectural and Archaeological Heritage. It could be
helpful to upgrade many experts and professionals in the field. Obviously the issue involves different
disciplinary fields (such as information technology, computer graphics, surveying, etc.), however, in
this case, the idea is to offer the specific contribution of expert scholars of historical architecture, which
over the years have been involved in these technological topics.
