Interessi di ricerca

I principali interessi dell'attività di ricerca, mediante utilizzo di tecniche di immunologia e biologia molecolare per la caratterizzazione di modelli murini, si sono sviluppati lungo le direttive di seguito descritte:

1) Notch nel differenziamento dei linfociti T e nello sviluppo della 'Leucemia linfoblastica acuta a cellule T' (T-ALL).

2) Il ruolo di Notch ed NF-kB nel controllo della generazione e della funzione delle cellule T regolatorie e nella patogenesi del diabete autoimmune sperimentale.

3) Notch ed NF-kB nell'interazione tra le cellule T leucemiche e le cellule immunosoppressorie (Treg ed MDSC) nel microambiente tumorale.
