L’infezione da SARS-CoV-2: diagnosi molecolare e gestione del paziente
Resistenza alla terapia antiretrovirale: effetti a lungo termine della terapia antiretrovirale sulla cellula e studio dei meccanismi di resistenza cellulare selezionati dopo trattamento. Ruolo dell’espressione di trasportatori di membrana nella resistenza ai farmaci antiretrovirali. Caratterizzazione in vitro di ceppi di HIV farmacoresistenti. Studio delle varianti di HIV-1 farmacoresistenti in soggetti HIV positivi e analisi del possibile ruolo delle varianti di HIV farmacoresistenti archiviate nei serbatoi cellulari, nel fallimento della terapia antivirale.
Significato clinico della viremia residua in HIV: studi volti ad identificare sia i fattori che contribuiscono alla presenza di viremia residua, sia la relazione esistente tra viremia residua e immunoattivazione/infiammazione cronica.
