General description of the equipment:
1) High performance accurate mass spectrometer ZenoTOF 7600 LC-MS/MS System enabled with Zeno SWATH.
The instrument includes the following components:
Turbo V Source for ZenoTOF 7600 that accepts either the ESI Probe or APCI Probe A source combining ESI and APCI (Atmospheric
Pressure Chemical Ionization) modes for automated calibration. Offers the same high flow characteristics as the regular Turbo V
source (flow rates from 5 to 3000 ml/min.) and APCI source (flow rates from 200 to 3000 ml/min.).

Double source electron beam gun for high temperature treatment of materials and deposition of thin films in vacuum. Vacuum chamber equipped with turbomolecular pump, temperature control of substrates (room to 800 °C) and quartz microbalances for thin film growth monitoring.

Spettrometria di massa per analisi forensi, cliniche e farmaceutiche

Il laboratorio svolge attività di ricerca e supporto tecnico-scientifico per la determinazione di sostanze psicotrope nelle matrici biologiche (sangue, urina, capelli, fluidi orali); analisi di biomarcatori in fluidi biologici; supporto a studi di farmacocinetica e identificazione di metaboliti. 

Raman Lab

Caratterizzazione spettroscopica Raman. Questo laboratorio è anche utilizzato per le esperienze di laboratorio del corso Sintesi e caratterizzazione dei materiali inorganici con Laboratorio (LM Chimica, I anno).
