Resilienza e successo formativo per contrastare la povertà educativa/Resilience and educational achievement to fight educational poverty

The theme of educational poverty is becoming increasingly central to the national and international
scientific and pedagogical debate, but also to the public and political one. The concept is
multidimensional and presents the characteristics of scale necessary to frame the complexity of
social and educational situations related to inequalities and issues of equity, social justice and access to rights not relegated to the economic sphere alone. The contribution aims to initiate a

Resilience in migrant population: supportive factors and practices.

Many migrants, especially those with more vulnerable or precarious positions and refugees, face multiple stressors and traumatic experiences which may have long-term adversely implications for their well-being and physical and mental health. Despite these major stressors, many migrants show resilience and do not develop disorders (Cardoso & Thompson, 2010; Greeff & Holtzkamp, 2007; Pieloch, McCullough, & Marks, 2016; Rashid & Gregory, 2014). Resilience has been defined in different ways.

The better the bond, the better we cope. The effects of place attachment intensity and place attachment styles on the link between perception of risk and emotional and behavioral coping

The general aim is to advance the understanding of the role of both place attachment intensity and place attachment styles for adaptive coping strategies with flood risk. Place attachment styles are operationalized as secure, preoccupied, and fearful-avoidant. Risk coping strategies are conceptualized as emotional (i.e., distress), and behavioral coping strategies (i.e., positive, negative, and avoidant). Two main cross-sectional studies were conducted in both high and low-risk areas: one study in Italy (N = 100) and one study in Romania (N = 391).

Can flow alleviate anxiety? The roles of academic self-efficacy and self-esteem in building psychological sustainability and resilience

A growing number of studies suggest that flow experience is associated with life satisfaction,
eudaimonic well-being, and the perceived strength of one’s social and place identity. However, little
research has placed emphasis on flow and its relations with negative experiences such as anxiety.
The current study investigated the relations between flow and anxiety by considering the roles of
self-esteem and academic self-ecacy. The study sample included 590 Chinese university students,

Stuck Outside and Inside: An Exploratory Study on the Effects of the COVID-19 Outbreak on Italian Parents and Children’s Internalizing Symptoms

The Covid-19 outbreak and the subsequent lockdown have profoundly impacted families’ daily life, challenging their psychological resilience. Our study aimed to investigate the immediate psychological consequences of the pandemic on Italian parents and children focusing on internalizing and post-traumatic symptoms. We also wanted to explore the impact of possible risk and resilience factors, e.g., lifestyle and behaviors, emotional and cognitive beliefs, on parents and children’s reaction to the emergency distress.

Milano.

Enhancing Societie's Resilience. Exploring a Range of Green Infrastructure Value Domains in a Multi-Stakeholders Perspective
