My research primarily aims to understand how we represent the self — at bodily, interpersonal, and social levels — and how these self-representations are used to understand and interact with others. These themes are explored both in healthy individuals and in clinical populations characterized by disturbances in bodily and conceptual self-representation, such as individuals with Anorexia Nervosa. This research integrates behavioral, neurophysiological, and personality measures with social manipulation techniques, fostering a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach.
