Interessi di ricerca

  • studi minero-petrografici e geochimici per la caratterizzazione e l’individuazione delle aree di provenienza dei materiali di interesse nel campo dei beni culturali. In particolare, materiali lapidei, ceramici, pigmenti, turchesi, smeraldi analizzati mediante microscopia ottica, fluorescenza a raggi X (XRF), spettroscopia Raman, spettroscopia infrarossa a trasformata di Fourier (FTIR), microscopia elettronica a scansione e microanalisi (SEM-EDS), diffrattometria dei raggi X (XRD).
  • ricerche minero-petrografiche e geochimiche sui processi di immobilizzazione di metalli pesanti da parte di fosfati naturali e sintetici in soluzione acquosa ed in suoli inquinati.
